On your first grooming, please ensure your pet is up-to-date on vaccinations. Vaccines aid in the prevention of numerous ailments that affect pets. Vaccinating your pet has long been considered to be one of the simplest ways to help him live a long and healthy life.
We request confirmation of current vaccinations based on your pet’s age for the health and safety of other pets and our stylists. Among the requirements are:
Dogs
- Under 16 weeks: At least two sets of puppy starter vaccinations that include distemper, hepatitis, and parvovirus
- 16 weeks and older: Rabies vaccination
Cats
- 16 weeks and older: Rabies vaccination
Please allow at least 24 hours between vaccination injection and their grooming service. If you have any questions, please contact us so that we can guarantee that your pet is properly vaccinated before their appointment.
This might depend on the availability of the Mobile Pet Spa groomers; for your convenience, kindly book your grooming in advance. Both cat grooming and dog grooming services are always available in Nairobi and Kiambu upon booking.

Pricing may vary depending on the weight, breed, coat condition, coat type, and temperament of your pet for both cat grooming and dog grooming.
Please note:
Dogs with extremely matted hair, thick coats, or temperamental personalities may be subject to supplementary charges if additional time and care are required. If we determine your dog’s coat is too severely matted, we will suggest it be clipped instead to avoid undue pain or discomfort to the dog.
Most pets require grooming every 4 to 6 weeks on average, but every breed is different. It also depends on how long or short you want your pet’s hair to be.

A full-service groom includes a bath, brush, haircut, and sanitary trim. A bath and brush is a water bath and brush out, and does not include a haircut.
Grooming time depends on the size and your pet’s breed, coat condition, frequency of grooming, behavior, as well as the services requested. When we arrive for your appointment, we will do our best to give you an approximate pick-up time. Generally speaking, grooming can take between 1 to 2 hours.

Walk-in services are unavailable. Mobile Pet Spa is fully mobile in Nairobi and Kiambu regions.
